The WELLON TCK700B is a new slant-bed CNC turning lathe for machining small and medium-sized shaft and plate workpieces. Its stated capabilities include turning threads, arcs, tapers, and the internal and external surfaces of rotational parts.
The machine uses box guideways, a 30-degree one-piece cast slant bed, integrated automatic lubrication, and a fully enclosed cover. The working envelope includes a 730 mm maximum swing over bed, 440 mm swing over the cross slide, 560 mm maximum turning diameter, and 930 mm maximum turning length.
The A2-8 spindle has an 87 mm bore, accepts a 10- or 12-inch chuck, and is driven by a 15 kW motor with a stated maximum speed of 2,500 rpm. Maximum stated bar turning diameter is 75 mm. X- and Z-axis limit travels are 330 mm and 1,240 mm respectively.
The listed standard configuration includes a Fanuc 0i-TF Plus controller, Fanuc main and servo motors, a 12-inch hollow hydraulic chuck, hydraulic tailstock, 12-tool hydraulic turret, chain-type chip conveyor, coolant and lubrication systems, safety door, work lamp, tri-color alarm lamp, USB interface, live center, and tooling package.
Optional configurations include a BMT65 power turret, radial or axial live tooling, C-axis function, ±45 mm Y-axis travel, part catcher, servo bar feeder, tool measurement probe, and programmable hydraulic tailstock.
